With the tournament nearing the end and college basketball stars beginning to announce departures to the draft, let's debrief and predict who the top four picks (not in order) will be this coming draft.
Alex Sarr
Although he doesn't come from the college basketball world, this 6-11 superstar is definitely one to look out for. Coming out of the NBLs Perth Wildcats, his tall stature makes him an athletic threat to every defense. Although he is only 19, build draws a comparison I would say with Jayson Tatum, especially with Sarr's habit of a heavy shooting volume. If Sarr figures out his playstyle and his body before the next season, there is no doubt he could play a key role for a team.
Donovan Clingan
Seen by many as a more well-rounded Zach Edey, Donovan Clingan has been a key part in UConn's extremely explosive season this year. Currently averaging a wild 12.5 points coupled with 7.5 rebounds, Clingan is an unstopabble force in the post, and he has definetly demonstrated that over the tournament this year. As the draft approaches, I believe there is no question he will join and help change a team this year.
Dalton Knecht
Following one of the best performances we have seen all year in college basketball, Dalton Knecht led the Tennessee Volunteers in their Elite Eight campaign this year. Dropping 37 in their close loss against Purdue, Dalton demonstrated his absolute prowess when it comes to scoring at the rim all year. Averaging 21 points on 46% shooting this year, he is easily one of the most efficient and dominant scorers in college, and will be in the NBA as well
Rob Dillingham
One of Kentucky's brightest, this point guard has made waves across the college basketball world for how much trouble he actually gives teams
