Where Could Marvin Harrison Jr. be Drafted?

Deemed one of the top WR prospects of his generation, Marvin Harrison Jr. is sure to go to one of the first teams not to pick a QB. He had 2 straight dominant seasons at Ohio State, before deciding he was ready to take his talents to the NFL. Throughout this article, we will look at where he may go in the draft and how he would fit in with those teams.

Possible Draft Spots

1) #1 Overall, Chicago Bears

If the Bears were to take Harrison, they would be giving Quarterback Justin Fields, who is also from Ohio State, their full trust, as well as a consistent new target. Although they have DJ Moore and Darnell Mooney already at the receiver position, that could be better for MHJ, because it would give him time to adjust and acclimate to the NFL knowing his team does not need his superstar potential from day one.

2) #4 Overall, Arizona Cardinals

In this scenario, Harrison stays in red white and black uniforms and heads to Glendale to join forces with Kyler Murray and co. He would be given the chance to fill the #1 wide receiver position immediately, and show everyone across the league that he deserves the praise he has been constantly getting. The only problem I could think of with this is Harrison's development getting slightly slowed down because he is forced into so many targets right away, but the opposite could be just as likely true and he could play up to his full potential as quick as possible.

3) #5 Overall, Los Angeles Chargers

The least likely option, but if both the Cardinals and the Bears were to pass on Harrison (for whatever reason), he would go to team up with Justin Herbert and Keenan Allen to form a deadly passing trio. Much like with the Bears, he would be able to take a backseat for the first year or two while he develops and Allen rides out his contract and gets older. When it is time for Harrison to take over, he will know the playbook well, and fans will barely even notice that they just loss one of the best Wide Receivers in team history, because another one will be ready to takeover.

He is sure to go top 5 and is one of two major candidates to go first overall, but no matter where he goes, Marvin Harrison Jr. is sure to make both an immediate and long term impact to his new team.
