Post-Draft NFC Review

The 2024 NFL Draft has officially come to an end, and we now have a clear view of next season’s rosters and what they offer.  With the addition of an impressive draft class, some teams will certainly improve from last season. While others may find themselves reflecting on the opportunities they missed. In addition, we have also witnessed several interesting trades over this off-season. As the teams start to truly come together, it is the perfect time to give our predictions for next year's season.

NFC East

With yet another impressive draft from GM Howie Roseman, the Philadelphia Eagle are the favorite to win the NFC East. With the addition of Saquon Barkley, the Eagles seem to have one the most dangerous offenses in the league. However, they also managed to replenish their defense in this year's draft. The Dallas Cowboys could be a threat in this division depending on Dak’s ability to utilize CeeDee Lamb.

NFC North

This division is shaping out to be one of the most talented in the league. However, I see Detroit coming out on top. Dan Campbell has pulled together a dangerous team coming off last season’s run. The Green Bay Packers could also have a shot at the division as Jordan Love shocked the world at the end of last season. Chicago and Minnesota, both with rookie quarterbacks, have a good chance of finishing with winning records.

NFC South

For years, this has been known as one of the worst divisions in football, and I don’t see next year being much different. Despite the controversial draft decision from Atlanta, I see them winning the division. Bringing in Kirk Cousin’s just may be the perfect piece to Atlanta’s offence, and it might show this season. Baker Mayfield, and the Buccaneers beat the odds to make a slight postseason run last year. In this division, they could certainly come out on top.

NFC West

Another very strong division, the NFC West may be a closer battle than many think. While the San Francisco 49ers are coming off a NFC championship, the Los Angeles Rams are going to be difficult next year. With Puka returning, a healthy Cooper Kupp, and one of the league best O- lines San Fran will have their work cut out for them. Of course, the 49ers also have a very strong offense. However, I think Mathew Stafford is simply the better quarterback.
