The next generation of soccer players seems to be among the best ever, and today I will be highlighting the top 5 best U21 plyers right now. These rankings are based off many factors such as form, awards and impact. The younger players are beginning to fill the shoes of older stars fading away from the spotlight. There are many players who are performing very well right now but here are the 5 that I think are the best right now.

5. Jamal Musiala

Jamal Musiala has come to the spotlight in the past few years, turning heads with his display of natural talent and his composure under pressure. He has showcased beautiful control of the ball and carries an aura of effortlessness about him. He always manages to wriggle himself out of tight situations, and his ability to be molded by coaches to lead a certain playstyle makes him a managers dream. He has a large impact on goal scoring contributions for his squad, notching an impressive 19 goals and assists across all competitions this season. He is certainly one of the most exciting plyers to watch right now, and I believe he will continue to impress in the coming years.

4. Xavi Simons

Ever since Simons was young he was highlighted by the media for his advanced skill and understanding of the game, he seemed to fade away from the spotlight. That was until last year, as he took the Eredivise by storm, scoring 19 goals and adding 9 assists on the side. Since then he has transferred clubs to compete at a higher level and the standard of soccer has definitely not thrown him off at RB Liebzig. This season he has added a total of 23 goals and assist contributing largely to his teams offense. He is not a player to sleep on as when you least expect it he can tear a whole team apart. He will continue to produce good results in Germany as the playstyle suits him, so he is a player to watch.

3. Florian Wirtz

Like the players before him, Florian plays in the Bundesliga, which is producing a huge amount of top talent right now. He is one of the best produced so far. He brings a lot to the table for any team he plays for, with impressive skill on the ball, creativity and poachers instincts to find a goal when needed. This season he has added 35 goal contributions in all competitions, and is a key prt of the Leverkusen attack. He helped lead their team to their first title in a long time. He is a game changer, and his contributions mean he will be a player to keep your eyes on in the future

2. Cole Palmer

Cole Palmer leads the Premier League in goals this season and is in second for most assists. The premier league is regarded as the best league in the world, and to be ranked where he is for goal contributions at only 21 is very impressive. Before he signed for Chelsea they had no clear threat, and even when he was signed they didn't expect he would score this many goals. This season he has netted a very impressive 25 goals and 13 assists. He leads all U21 players in the top 5 leagues for goal contributions, and is the main reason for Chelsea inning some games they have. He is someone who seems as though he can consistently contribute to teams nd will certainly be someone to look out for in the coming years.

1. Jude Bellingham

Jude Bellingham has been in the spotlight since he was 16 years old, ever since he has player at a world-class level and is expected to be one of the best players of this generation. This season he has notched an impressive 30 goals and assists, which is extremely impressive seeing as he is not playing in an attacking role as others on this list. He plays as a box to box midfielder and his composure and technical ability make him an impressive player. He has been dominating the scene for a long time, and he is expected to keep getting better and to keep impressing.
